Choosing to Compete

Choosing to compete in Gymnastics and Trampolining Competitions is always optional, but very beneficial and enjoyable for many children.

Our Step, Advanced, and Senior gymnasts and trampolinists are encouraged to compete several times a year where possible.

Our club regularly takes our athletes to many Recreational Gymnastics, Competitive Gymnastics, and Trampolining Competitions throughout Canterbury and the South Island.

Recreational Gymnastics and Trampolining competitions allow young gymnasts to demonstrate their skills in a relaxed and supportive yet competitive environment, developing confidence and pride in themselves.

When an athlete chooses to compete, they are required to wear our Club Competition Leotard or Boys Competition Uniform at the event, as well as several other considerations to be aware of - please refer to this document for more specific information.
