West Melton Gymnastics Classes in DARFIELD
Our term time Gymnastics Classes take place at the Darfield Recreation & Community Centre, on Thursdays and Fridays. Our Term 4 2025 classes will cater for children aged approx 5 - 12 years.
Our Darfield Gymnastics equipment is at a basic level currently, and growing!

Our updated classes for Term 4 2025 cater for children aged 5 to 12 years (approximately)
- Recreational Gymnastics GymFun & Grade 1: Age 5 - 8 years
- Recreational Gymnastics Grade 2 & Iron: Age 8 - 12 years
Recreational Gymnastics
In our Recreational Gymnastics classes, gymnasts learn and develop their strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence through learning gymnastics skills on the four artistic gymnastics apparatus of Floor, Bar, Beam, and Vault. These classes also include learning routines with the option to eventually compete throughout the South Island in a relaxed recreational gymnastics competition environment. (Links here for more info about competitions & routines) Our routines and grades are aligned to the Top of The South (TOTS) programme with the following grades: GymFun, Grade 1, Grade 2, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold & Emerald.

Suitable for children aged 5 - 8 years. Gymnasts commit to one class day & time and sign up to this class for the whole term Class times: Tuesday 3.30-4.30pm: $136.00 for Term 4 Thursday 3.30-4.30pm: $153.00 for Term 4 Friday 3.30-4.30pm and 4.35-5.35pm: $136.00 for Term 4 Please note that there are some days in Term 4 where we cannot access the Darfield Recreation Centre. Suitable for children aged 8 - 12 years. Gymnasts commit to one class day & time and sign up to this class for the whole term Class times: Tuesday 4.35-6.05pm: $168.00 for Term 4 Thursday 4.35-6.05pm: $189.00 for Term 4 Please note that there are some days in Term 4 where we cannot access the Darfield Recreation Centre.
